                                                    The Way I See It

A few days ago the country elected a new president. Now, much of the country is upset over what happened. The way I see it, the people have spoken in our democracy. The only thing left to do is to prayer that the one who leads the country is not as bigoted as the words he has spoken, even though the Word of God says, "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." Nonetheless, it is good to remember that, God is greater than any president or king.

Believe me, there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel and it is not President-Elect Trump. It is Jesus Christ! So, I want to encourage you too .............

1. Take a deep breath. As you do so, inhale  life and exhale death and anything that would poison your body, soul or spirit.

2. Say a prayer for our nation, it's leaders, citizens, and visitors.

3. Listen to the beat of your heart and remember that you are a miracle. Everything is going to work out for you,
but you must take care of your mind, soul, and body.

Here is a song that brings me great comfort and I hope it does the same for you!

Just a thought!

Just a thought:- We were born in sin, and sin is our nature. However, when you are born again, Greater lives within you. Greater empowers you to resist sin. Everyday, there must be a crucifying of the flesh, so that the spirit man can be strengthen.
Now they are many who think this is impossible to achieve. They argue that we are only human, and it is only natural to sin. True, but when you are born again sin must be resisted. Read Romans 6:1.
Oh yes, I know that King David sinned. He took another man's wife, got her pregnant, and then had her husband killed. However, when confronted by the Lord, he repented but his son still died. ‪#‎sincosts‬Romans 6:23 reads, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Yes, I know that Paul was a murderer. However, when Jesus confronted him on the road to Damascus, he stopped killing. Not only that, he started preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ with fervency, leading millions to Christ and eventually he gave his life for the gospel.
And what about Peter? He was a fisherman with a nasty mouth! However, there is no mention of Peter using his mouth to do anything other than preach the gospel after the day of Pentecost.
We were all born in sin but Romans 6:12 says, "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God."
Paul says in Romans 12 :1 King James Version (KJV)
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.'
Finally, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5
"For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God."

My First Psalm to the Lord

   Ganel's Psalm One

Oh Lord, creator of everything seen and unseen
You alone knows my heart.
You alone redeemed my soul from destruction.
Your presence in my life brings joy to my days.
I walk in your strength and under your direction.
I need your spirit to guide me
And I need your angel to encamp round about me.
Forever, I will stay in your presence
Forever, I will lift up your name. Selah
You alone know the length of my days
I will spend them offering you praise.
Oh Lord, you are my everything.

My Psalm to the Lord

I love the Lord with all my heart, mind, body and soul.
I love him for he alone has made me whole.
He has been better to me than a mother, father, brother or sister.
He has loved me from birth till this very hour.
He alone has met my every need.
He alone has given to me sweet peace.
He placed food on the table day after day
And he kept me healthy and answered my every prayer.
He lifted me out of despair and told me that I had nothing to fear.
Daily he loved me, so much more than I could love him.
I am blessed to be loved by the King of king.
Oh how I love the One who loved me first.
Because of him, I am blessed and not cursed.
For Him and Him alone, I  hunger and thirst.
Surely, I will serve him all the days of my life.
I will proclaim his works in the morning and night.
For the Lord is my maker
My Jehovah Jireh and protector.
Hallelujah to the Lamb
Hallelujah to the Great I AM that I AM.

Path to health

It has been a while since I checked in but all is well. Just wanted to remind you that everything takes time.
Rome was not built in a day and you did not put on all that weight in a day. Therefore, remember that it will take time for you to lose weight. Go at your own pace. Watch what you eat. Eat and drink healthy and stay on the path to health.
